Mary Russell, was awarded the handsome silver medal for having written the best essay.Miss Russell is a member of the senior class of Berryville High School.Each student must also speak from 3 to 5 minutes on an “assigned topic” drawn at the contest from a list of 4 predefined topics.This topic will be the same for all contestants in the contest once drawn.Apply to graduating students of Illinois Senior High Schools.Twenty scholarships of 00 each will be awarded in March to be used at an accredited college, university, trad or technical school to further career education.
