The 2018 competition is over, but entrepreneurship is a process.Each team still has the opportunity to move their project forward with the support of the UNM Business Plan.Competition Overview Participants that meet the Eligibility Requirements must submit a 5-part Application that is reviewed by an expert judging panel and evaluated according to established Judging Criteria.

Target Group: potential and existing entrepreneur(s), aged between 18-35, with a new business idea or startup in an early stage Deadline for submission: 23 September 2016, by CET (GMT 1) The Global Start-up Business Plan Competition (GSBPC) aims to stimulate and unleash the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with ideas that contribute to their personal economic benefit and towards developing their communities.

The GSBPC calls on potential and existing entrepreneurs to participate by submitting their innovative entrepreneurial ideas by means of a Business Plan Template, which will be reviewed by a team of experts.

That is the goal of the Enterprise Center – to help businesses start and grow on the North Shore to create jobs in our region.

*The Business Plan Competition Awards: $10,000 for the 1 place.

A number of criteria will be used to assess the applications.

It is important to adequately address each of these factors, in order to successfully present a well-rounded business plan.Technology Ventures Track winners were Mag Pi Innovations from New Mexico State winning the UNM Business Plan Competition First Place Prize of ,000.The Second Place UNM Business Plan Competition Prize of ,000 went to Pencil-In from UNM, and the Sandia National Labs/Los Alamos National Lab/TIP Endowment Third Place Prize of ,000 was awarded to Maaples from NMSU.Tunefly, located in the Twin Stacks Incubator in Dallas, was selected by Awards Dinner guests at the Wild Card winner.Tunefly is an app that specializes in streaming local music for hobbyists, aspiring artists and established performers.The tec BRIDGE Business Plan Competition invites entrepreneurs from across the region to pitch their emerging and early-stage ventures to win a share of more than 0,000 in cash and in-kind prizes.Six teams earned more than ,000 for their inventions as part of the 13th annual UNM Business Plan Competition held recently.The City of Albuquerque & Hartman Publishing Second Place Prize of ,000 went to Pulse Burger, and Dipped By Dee won the Albuquerque Journal Third Place Prize of ,500.All three teams were from the University of New Mexico.Further details are available in the Business Plan Template.The main points to focus on are: The three participants or teams with the best business plans will be invited to attend the prize-winners’ event in Vienna on 21 to 25 November 2016, during the celebration of UNIDO’s 50th Anniversary.
