Except that makes it a bit tricky when it comes to telling you about how fantastic and exciting and inspiring Write Club is, so we are a little more flexible about this rule than other clubs whose titles happen to rhyme with ours! As you might expect, Write Club is a space where you can come and WRITE!

We run sessions designed for you to find inspiration, to get your pens moving and meet like-minded people.

You might bring a draft of an entire paper, a section of a paper, or just a sentence or two that you can’t seem to get “just right.” Many of the above ideas will work just as well for writing that has been presented during the meeting of the writing group.

Our regular Ideas Generator sessions offer timed writing activities and opportunities to share new words.

And our Work in Progress sessions run over six fortnightly sessions to give you the time, support and skills you need to develop a piece of writing. The last day to submit work is Monday, February 5, 2018, at p.m.The first rule of Write Club is nobody talks about Write Club...However, since writing presented during the meeting will be new to everyone except the author, you might try these additional strategies: Sometimes, especially with new writing or writers needing a boost of confidence, it can be helpful to share writing without anticipating feedback. This kind of sharing can help writers get over fears about distributing their work or being judged: This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivs 4.0 License. We are accepting original poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, including graphic narratives.Submissions MUST follow the guidelines below to be considered. The Creative Writing Club will meet every Friday at 3 SB-203 to write, discuss writing and form connections with other passionate writers.
