ETh OS e-theses online service ETh OS is a free research tool that accesses UK doctoral research.
The Australasian Digital Theses (ADT) database which was hosted by University of New South Wales, ceased operation on 28 March 2011.
If after 12 months an extension to that restriction is required, a new application must be completed.
In the case of a Higher Degree by Research thesis, approval is required from the Dean, Higher Degree Research and can be sought by filling out an Extension of Thesis Restriction of Access Request Form or emailing [email protected]
UNSW theses / dissertations in electronic format can be located via UNSWorks.
More information on UNSWorks can be found in UNSWorks guidelines For older print theses, search for a title or keywords including the term in the column on the left.
The Search Works record will indicate if there is a circulating print copy that you can check out.
You can purchase copies of Stanford dissertations completed before 2010 via UMI Dissertation Express from Pro Quest.
If approved, the Open Research team will be notified and restrict access to the online version of your thesis in line with the decision made.
Hard copy theses can be requested for reading within the Library, but cannot be borrowed.
