This award will normally take you between 50 and 100 hours to fully complete depending on your level of existing knowledge and the amount of research you complete.
These hours can be condensed into weeks or spread over months to suit your lifestyle and other commitments.
I would motivate my students by developing a plan of learning that set clear targets, within a suitable timeframe, providing constructive feedback in a positive manner.
If a student was having difficulty with a particular driving manoeuvre I would provide additional advice and guidance either by providing a detailed written guide (in a different font), a video recording, a detailed diagram or by personally demonstrating the task.
You will need to be able to express yourself effectively both orally and in writing.
You will need a qualification or experience in the subject area you intend to teach.
Students are not permitted to drive in this environment until they have passed their driving test.
This would be a motivating and ongoing development of their driving skills and would provide a current assessment with positive feedback to the student on this new challenge.
As a teacher I will need to evaluate the course and delivery throughout the course duration to enable continuous improvement of my teaching and the impact that it is having on my learner.
