By being able to discover and explore different things, we will be able to learn more.
Not only does Stem cells help people directly, but they help others indirectly.
Coming from a Catholic school background, stem cells were always lumped at the end of the chapter with abortion, contraceptives, and other awful things that “went against God’s plan.” I didn’t know what they were or why we really used them, but already had a negative connotation about them.
So, taking a neutral stance, I wanted to see what the world was saying today about this important research field....
Mostly, ethical issues such as the use of embryonic stem cells and cloning.
Reaction Paper On Stem Cell Research
There are many different stem cells used in stem cell research: embryonic stem (ES) cells, induced pluripotent stem (IPS) cells, and adult or somatic stem cells. They help indirectly by providing information about complex things. For an example, stem cells will help scientists better understand human life. Many view the issue of stem cell research and stem cell therapy as morally wrong and a crime against humanity, others view the study of stem cells as the next step in modern science. Stem cells are non-specialized cells that have the capability to mature into more specified cells to help with certain functions or diseases.Cells are the basic building blocks of the human body and these tiny structures compose the skin, muscles, bones, and all of our internal organs....There are different sources of stem cells but all types of stem cells have the same capacity to develop into multiple types of cells....[tags: Stem cell, Embryonic stem cell] - The term stem cell research is thrown around a lot, but while researching for this paper, I realized I didn’t actually know much about it.Here is the question: “Should the laws that govern other types of pluripotent stem cells differ from those for h ES cells. ” As the National Institute of Health explains under Stem Cell Basics, there are three main types of stem cells: embryonic stem cells (h ESCs), adult or somatic stem cells, and induced pluripotent stem cells (i PSCs); it is well known that to this date h ESCs offer the most possibilities....[tags: Stem cell, Embryonic stem cell] - Stem Cell Research What if there was a more efficient way to cure non-communicable diseases other than surgery. Although, the benefits of this research are high there is controversy when it comes to this topic.[tags: Stem cell, Embryonic stem cell] - Introduction The term stem cell is a broad term that when spoken often comes along with positive language such as untapped potential, therapeutic treatment, and self-revival.However, this same term when spoken also comes along with alarming language such as ethically questionable, widely unproven, and even in-humane.
